The Fundraising Committee
Key to achieving the School's fundraising aims is the Arnold House Fundraising Committee. Friends. This leading volunteer board comprises eminent people who support Arnold House’s goals for the future and who are committed to working with the School to see these goals realised. The Arnold House Fundraising Committee will play a crucial role in the future of Arnold House as it works to transform perceptions of the role that external support for education can, and must, play.
Since its inception in 2009, the Fundraising Committee (previously known as The Board of Friends) have been instrumental in a number of fundraising initiatives including the successful launch of the Bursary Fund with a Gala held at the American School in London in 2011, a Wine Man's Bluff hosted by old boy and world's best selling wine writer, Hugh Johnson in 2012, Quiz Evenings in 2013 and 2018, a Bursary Cabaret in 2014, a Casino Night in 2015 a Race Night in 2016 and a Bursary Challenge Week in 2017. All events have been very well supported by the Arnold House community raising a total of £440,021 towards the Bursary Fund.
More recently, the Committee have started researching possibilites of fundraising through Charitable Trusts, Coporate Giving and Legacies.
