Community Partnerships
Community Service
Community service is central to life at Arnold House. Throughout the year, our boys take part in numerous charitable initiatives, working with both local and national organisations.
We have proudly partnered with St John’s Hospice for over 30 years, supporting their vital work within the local hospital. Our pupils also regularly contribute to food banks, homelessness outreach projects, an annual beach clean (Surfers Against Sewage), community litter picking (Canons Park) and other and other national charities, developing empathy and a sense of responsibility along the way.
Girls’ School
Arnold House maintains strong ties with nearby girls’ schools, including Queen’s College Prep and Sarum Hall. These partnerships offer valuable opportunities for boys and girls to learn and collaborate together in a school setting.
Recent joint initiatives have included workshops at Canons Park and a collaborative concert at the local chapel, fostering mutual respect, teamwork, and friendship.
Tooled Up Education
We are proud to be a Tooled Up Education School, providing our families and staff with access to an extensive digital library of evidence-based resources on parenting, education, and wellbeing.
Founded by Dr Kathy Weston, Tooled Up Education offers expert advice on topics such as children’s mental health, digital wellbeing, academic success, and family relationships. Parents can attend regular expert-led talks and access practical tools to help support their child’s development both at school and at home.
Oppidan Education
Arnold House is pleased to continue our dynamic partnership with Oppidan Education, a mentoring organisation dedicated to nurturing confidence, communication skills, and character in young people.
Our Year 5 and 6 boys take part in one-to-one mentoring and group workshops designed to promote oracy, self-awareness, and resilience. These sessions provide a supportive space for personal growth, whether preparing for interviews, navigating social dynamics, or discovering individual strengths.
Let’s Leap
In partnership with Let’s Leap, Arnold House offers a high-quality Extended Day programme, giving families the flexibility they need while ensuring children remain safe, stimulated, and engaged after school.
As an Ofsted-registered provider, Let’s Leap offers a broad range of creative and recreational activities, delivered by specialists who understand the importance of play, learning, and wellbeing beyond the classroom.
