ETHOS:
We aim to facilitate the acquisition and development of both knowledge and understanding of Christianity and other principal religions represented in the society of today.
AIMS:
• To develop and awareness of the fundamental questions of life raised by human experience and how religious teaching can relate to these questions.
• To develop an understanding of the influence of beliefs, values and traditions on individuals, communities, societies and cultures.
• To reflect on the pupil’s own beliefs and questions about faith in the light of this study.
• To enhance the pupil’s spiritual, cultural and social development.
• To develop a positive attitude towards living in a multi faith society.
