Old Boys
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our Old Boys. As a former Arnold House pupil you are automatically a member of The '42 Club, and entitled to enjoy the benefits and services that this provides. Please help us keep in touch with you by visiting this site regularly and updating your contact details.
In the Development Office we maintain a database of all alumni, currently around 1,700, and we send the Arnold House newsletter 'Assembly' to all our Old Boys twice a year and, upon request, a copy of the Magazine produced every Autumn. The Development Office and the '42 Club are resources for all Old Boys to use, young and old alike. Please remember that we can help you to keep in touch with your friends, hold regular events, as well as put you in contact with Old Boys all over the world.
Update your details
Help us to keep you in touch and informed - if you have not received Assembly recently or have moved, please enter your new contact details here.
I would be very interested to hear from you if you have any suggestions about this part of the website or suggestions for Old Boy events. Additionally if you have any photographs, anecdotes or stories from your time at the school that you think may be of interest for the School Magazine then please do send them to me. Please also view the dedicated '42 Club website at www.the42club.com, administered by Old Boys and which also includes a photo gallery and a discussion forum in addition to further details of the Club and events.
Many kind regards
Laura Backhouse David Burr

The 2008 FĂȘte ChampĂȘtre will be held on Thursday July 3rd - Old Boys and their parents who left between 2002 and 2007 are invited to join us for a summertime evening of entertainment. If you would like to attend, please email lbackhouse@arnoldhouse.co.uk or call 020 7266 6989. Last year we welcomed over 50 Old Boys and enjoyed a programme of gymnastics displays, jazz band performaces and comedy sketches.
We were delighted to have another successful pizza reunion in December 2007 at the Christmas Catch Up. It was fantastic to see so many of our 2006 and 2007 leavers; nearly every old boy attended from those two years. During the evening amusing anecdotes were exchanged, little black books compared and old friendships rekindled - a very heart-warming pre-Christmas scene. The evening was a great success and the stage is now set for years to come.
The ‘42 Club clebrated its Golden Jubilee last April at the magnificent Tallow Chandlers Hall in the City of London. This stunning venue, dating from 1672, was a perfect place for this special occasion. The reception and dinner were as lively as ever, and very well-attended.
The 2008 '42 Club dinner took place on the 13th of May, and in a change to the usual arrangement the dinner was hosted at Arnold House for the first time. Pre-dinner drinks were held in the garden followed by dinner in the Gym and post-dinner drinks in the Dining Room. 60 Old Boys attended and all enjoyed having a good look around the School. The evening was a great success.
