Junior School Board
Every day the boys in the Junior School, with guidance from their teachers, work hard to produce outstanding pieces of work in each and every lesson. To encourage all the boys to achieve at their highest level we have established the 'Junior School Board'. This board is displayed in the stairwell outside the Year 3 classrooms, and each week demonstrates the boys' talents and abilities throughout the Year groups.
The majority of the work displayed on the 'Junior School Board' is taken directly from book work that was completed in a single lesson at some point that week. The board is changed every Friday, and represents an excellent piece of work produced in English and Mathematics, from Year 1 through to Year 4. Also selected from each Year group is an additional piece that may come from any other subject area.
Work selected for display may be a particularly outstanding piece; likewise, it could also be a piece produced by a student who has been making a considerable effort to improve his standard of work.
