School lunches have had a lot of press coverage lately and quite rightly, as we all want the best for our children. However, long before the current debate began, the highly professional Arnold House catering team were already preparing and serving delicious and nutritious food to the children and staff which is freshly cooked everyday onsite.
We offer a vegetarian meal for those who prefer not to have meat. Our aim is to encourage the boys to try different types of food, in order to educate them in the amazing range of tastes and textures, but plain pasta is also on offer for those boys with a less sophisticated palate.
The menus are run on a five week cycle so there is plenty of variety and choice. We offer fresh fruit and an extensive salad bar. We do this by rotating the kinds of dishes available and staging regular ‘themed’ days that give the boys an opportunity to try food and flavours from different parts of the world, which has proven to be very popular. We also ensure that when the boys play sport their additional energy needs are met by providing fruit, sandwiches and flapjacks that are all freshly made in our fabulous new kitchen at Canons Park.
We want the boys to be as excited as we are and we warmly invite parents to drop in and join their son for lunch anytime (especially if they are a fussy eater) so you too can experience the quality of the lunch at Arnold House.
