Benefiting the Community
The School has done an increasing amount to ensure that the local community, especially at Canons Park, is able to benefit from the use of our extensive facilities. Several affiliated groups use the Activity Centre for a range of activities including yoga, bridge, bowls, martial arts, tennis and drama. We have been in partnership with Watford Football Club and the Safer Neighbourhoods Police team to encourage participation in a community-based football programme using the School’s all-weather surface. The Centre has become the unofficial headquarters for The Friends of Canons Park and all members of the School community and affiliated groups are now able to hire the facilities for private functions.
